When fitting artificial grass to replace your natural lawn always add features like borders, slabs, and planting areas this helps create a natural looking lawn area. When fitting around trees you have a couple of options. Option one is to fit the Lazy Grass around the tree and cutting the grass to the shape of the trunk also allowing large roots to protrude through the grass, as the picture above shows. Option two is to fix a timber frame or use everedge to make a border around the tree (timber for straight edges, everedge for shaped borders). This will leave soil exposed around the tree this can also be used for flower planting. Option one is the best option if you have a few trees in the lawn area.
