For the start of the premiership 3 Mobile transformed it's three main stores, two in London and one in Birmingham into football pitches to run with the company's football promotions during the start of the season. Each store was visited by Evergreens and laser measured and the sizes plotted into our computers which provided us with a outline of each store. Once the store floor area and shop fittings were plotted into the computer the line and logo markings were overlaid and a printed mock-up of each store was printed. Once each store design was signed off we started to produce each floor area with a +60mm on each edge to allow for trimming in onsite. This system allows quick installation overnight and ensures that the finished result is what the client required.

With the start of the premiership 3 Mobile following the success of the transformation of their stores decided to install a mock football pitch in their head office. This included 3 mobile logos and pitch markings. The project was designed from cad drawings of the building to ensure that the carpet fitted with the centre line being in the centre of reception and goals in the correct position. Goal nets were hung at one end to allow for real penalty shots to be taken. This flooring was fitted over a Sunday morning to minimize disruption to staff and visitors. With the start of Euro 2004 Selfridges ordered four pitch areas to be installed in each of it's stores. The areas ranged from 40sqm - 16sqm each pitch was manufactured in our factory to reduce work on installation as three stores had to be fitted over one evening. Each area included pitch lines and semi-circles. The mats produced were fitted complete with anti-trip edges to meet current health and safety requirements. Once Evergreens had installed each area large chairs and wide screen televisions were positioned onto the mats. The idea behind this project is to provide areas for football fans to sit down and watch live matches whilst shopping.
All designed, manufactured and installed within 4 days from order.

For the Reuters 2005 Bank Penalty Shoot Out Evergreens was contacted to produce the artificial grass surface including inlayed Reuters logo and large bevel edges to prevent the ball rolling off the playing surface. The bevel edges were also used to prevent wind from lifting the edges this was also helped by all edges being taped down using specialist tapes to eliminate damage to the marble floor. The Surface was installed at 6am and complete by 7am, then removed at 11.30pm by Evergreens staff. This was removed carefully as each section will be stored in our storage warehouse to be used next year.

This years Orange Prize For Fiction was held at Portland Square London. The event was hosted in a 40m x 16m tent of which Evergreens covered 35m x 16m using our Pro-White artificial grass that was fire treated to meet Class 1 standard and pure smooth black lino. As last year Evergreens used cad drawings provided from the tent supplier and ideas from the customer to produce a "wondering river of lino" through the white artificial grass this also included a 4m x 3m inlayed alphabet section using the same black lino to merge into the white grass. Each section of lino was pre-cut in our factory, this enabled us to fit all the surfaces in 7 hours from 6pm to 1am. With our cutting machine we were able to produce the shape of the lino path to the exact requirement of the customer this also enabled other contractors to work from the same drawing instead of waiting until the installation was complete to work out there requirements. Once Evergreens were finished the area was covered in plastic to protect the surface until the event. Also part of the project was to install the surface without damaging the the carpet that was supplied with the tent, this was successfully completed using various specialist join tapes 24 hours later.
