During this years Wentworth HSBC the official sponsor wanted to bring the theme to there Docklands head office. The putting green was not to be used for any putting but had to look visually good, whilst able to withstand the high volume of traffic walking over it every day to access the lifts of the building. The surfaces used were selected for their visual looks and the low radius BS4790 floor coverings burn test that both surfaces used passed. This is a requirement in all indoor exhibition and public buildings, also disabled staff had to be able to use wheelchairs across the surfaces with out causing excessive effort.
The Green was in place for two weeks during Wentworth and was installed and removed over weekends to reduce interruption to staff working in the building. Evergreens specialize in the manufacture of custom putting greens from greens similar to the HSBC green to much smaller putting games for branded events such as the Audi mat seen above which was produced for a chain of Audi dealerships. With out unique cutting service we are able to produce green to any size or shape including the most complicated logos or themes.
