Display & Point of Sale solutions

An outdoor artificial grass display can be a great way to promote a product, company or even a location. With this in mind, you’re going to want a floor with that ‘wow’ factor. We have been installing artificial grass for outdoor displays for many years in locations across Europe. The surface can be a plain artificial grass mat, point of sale or even for an outdoor display. With some imagination, it can include logos or designs and a wide range of colours to match with your event.

One area we have seen large growth in is covering amphitheatre steps in busy commercial environments with a fake grass mat. Steps can range from just a few large concrete steps to large projects such as covering the steps at Granary Square near Kings Cross London. We have a proven technique that allows the steps to be covered providing a safe, but firm fix and permits the grass to be removed at the end of summer with no trace. The benefits of covering natural and manmade amphitheatres in artificial grass mat is that it attracts people to sit-down and enjoy lunchtimes or watch the sun go down in the summer months without the mess and maintenance of natural turf.

Our extensive experience allows us to assist you on your artificial grass display, helping you to decide which product to use, how to fix the grass down if the flooring can’t be damaged and how to do this in bad weather. We offer a 24/7 fitting service across Europe and have staff trained with the equipment needed on the largest projects.

An artificial grass outdoor display can range from a point of sale, a chill out area at a shopping centre to the largest of installs, like the London Olympics, where we were required to install artificial grass at many of the event locations, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Lee Valley Water Centre, Kensington Palace and, of course, the Olympic Park.

N1 Shopping Centre 2013/14/15

For this installation, we were asked to supply and install 200sqm of fake grass for a display, including a logo for the courtyard of the N1 shopping centre, North London. This provided a summer garden that hosted many outdoor displays and popup markets over the summer months. The brief was to provide a surface that would drain freely during heavy rain, but was still resilient enough to withstand high traffic and vandalism in this public area. We used the Wonder Grass 26 and Funky Grass Orange to complete this installation and matched it with the centre’s brand. All of the edges were finished off with our anti-trip bevel edge to give a clean and trip free edge.
