Fix trims around the parameter of your area. Because you placed the tapes at the outer edge of the artificial grass, this means with the trims in place the grass will run over all edges by 35mm because of the bevel edge this will be trimmed in running a knife along the straight back edge of the trim. This is done later.

For fixing trims round corners trim triangles out of the rear flat section every few centimeters this will allow the trim to bend without buckling. Mitre all corners for a good finish.

Lay grass in position and starting from one edge remove brown paper and rub grass down with the 35mm overhang once all has been fixed down trim grass back using the flat back edge of the trim as a guide.

TIP: When trimming the grass back drop knife through the grass so the blade is tight against the flat back edge of the trim, pull knife along holding waste off at an angle so you are able to check you progress and ensure a good cut edge.
