With the growing demand for Evergreens cutting service,
Evergreens have put in place a quarter of a million pound investment
this winter, Most of the investment is with the purchase of our
new Cad/Cam cutting machine. The new machine like our current
machine is the widest cad/cam flooring cutting machine in Europe
measuring 8m x 5m with a cutting bed area of 4.2m x 7.2m. Unlike
our old machine the new cutter will be capable of cutting materials
from 1mm pvc sheet to 20mm thick rubber and most things between.
The cutter will be mainly used for the production of our golf
putting and course mats, event flooring
systems and memorial mats.
Over the next twelve months our Play Scene safety play area surface
will also be phased over to the new machine which will produce
more detail and quicker turnaround.
Part of the winter investment also includes new storage areas around both cutting
machines allowing storage for an extra 70-80 4m wide rolls. This is mainly designed
to reduce down time on machines when refilling roll holders.
Materials That can be cut:- Artificial Grass, Foam, Rubber, PVC, Carpets, Artificial
Turf and much more.
