Artificial grass has a wide variety of uses beyond gardens and play areas - it can also be a valuable display tool for eye-catching sales installations. And when it’s not being used for lawns, that means there’s no reason to limit the colour palette to natural greens.
Synthetic grass is currently being put to effective promotional use at Selfridges stores in London and Manchester. Evergreens UK installed a total of 200 square metres of Lace Black grass from their colourful Funky range to give a distinctive look to Selfridges on Duke Street, in London’s fashionable Mayfair area.

Selfridges’ new promotion comes the same week the chain was recognised as the world’s leading department store at the Intercontinental Group of Department Stories meeting in New York. The company has a long association with Evergreens UK, which also installed coloured artificial grass for the high-profile launch of the Selfridges store in Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre in just two hours.
Evergreens UK’s Funky range of artificial grass is ideal for creating striking displays that make an instant impression, and can also be highly effective when combined with logo mats and event flooring.
Evergreens has recently added some brand new colours to the range, too - including a vibrant pink and a tangy orange - offering even more options for vibrant displays.

With all the excitement surrounding the World Cup, which kicks off later this week in South Africa, many companies are keen to show their support for the game (and the England team) by installing football-themed event flooring in their offices dedicated to the sport.
One company that’s gone a step further is Coca-Cola, which brought in Evergreens UK to install a promotional football pitch at the headquarters of Coca-Cola (GB & Ireland) Ltd in Hammersmith, London.
Produced using fire-retardant artificial grass, the 700 square metre promotional pitch was installed in just 10 hours last Friday night, to avoid interfering with business hours - just in time for World Cup fever to hit this week!

The artificial pitch was scaled to fit the curved layout of the office - as well as the lifts - to provide a comfortable environment for workers and visitors to watch the games as they take place. Fitted using easy joins, the flooring won’t leave any tell-tale marks after the events conclude and it’s business as usual again at Coca-Cola HQ.
Themed event flooring like this is a perfect opportunity for businesses to show their support for the latest big events, as well as great for branding. Evergreens UK uses a full inlay system to turn suitable synthetic grass into colourful flooring with whatever design the client chooses. In the case of the Coca-Cola HQ installation, the company’s high density Meadow Twist Emerald grass was used for the unique flooring, which took four days to produce at the Evergreens UK warehouse.
Choosing artificial grass installations is particularly fitting for this year’s World Cup, following the news that artificial turf would be used for the first time in the championship’s history. There’s also event sponsor Hyundai driving grass-coated cars around the UK in support of the events.
