For Alton Tower’s new ride
“Peugeot 207 Driving School”, Evergreens UK was asked
to supply the
PlayScene surface along
with the
Lazy
Grass Olive Artificial Grass.
The PlayScene was used for the main car wash brushes as shown
below. PlayScene was selected because of its bright soft texture
and was cut to exact CAD drawings to ensure a perfect join on
the carwash cylinders. Blue and white PlayScene was chosen to
match the design theme as we felt that the contrasting colours
worked perfectly to achieve the desired spinning effect.
Lazy Grass Olive was also used for this project because of
its realistic appearance and it requires little maintenance.
This product was ideal for areas of the ride that are unable
to be accessed whilst the ride is operating or shaded areas,
which would usually deteriorate during dry or wet weather. Over
200sqm of Lazy Grass Olive was used to transform this area into
what looks like a perfectly maintained grass area. The clients
were extremely happy with the finished results, which you can
see below.
